At IBC 2009, Packet Ship today announced the release of the Packet Ship Streamline v2.3 video server, codenamed “Lisbon”.
This release provides a new, advanced ‘trick mode’ system allowing accurately timed, visual fast-forward and rewind at any speed, and improved support for trick mode in H.264. It also provides a number of new features to simplify integration, including direct mapping of files to RTSP URLs, and support for streaming sub-segments of assets.
